Wonder Rotunda is a virtual theme park where each ride at the theme park is a lesson in the environment, planets, health, animals, science and several others.

I went on a few rides to try out Wonder Rotunda. My first ride was the Serengetti Safari. The hot air balloon safari teaches about all of the main animals in Africa from Wildebeest to Lions. You learn about the climate, the animals, and specific habits like the Wildebeest migration.

I then went on the Supercoaster which teaches you about healthy eating and how the body interacts with food. The roller coaster passes by different concepts like carbs and proteins and goes into detail on how the different foods contribute to a healthy body.

The Apollo 11 launch helps you relive a rocket launch. It teaches you about the planets, the equipment, and space suits.

Finally, I did the Run Your Own business ride where they teach about sales, costs, profits, money, saving, investing, and even contributing to good causes. This was my favorite and was different than anything I have seen on these types of sites before.

Wonder Rotunda is similar to other learning/virtual world sites in that you create an avatar and track your progress across the park. But it differentiates itself with amazing graphics and the best technology I have seen yet. The cartoons and animation were not studdering, it was easy to navigate, and looked great. This is the best technology I have seen yet. Wonder Rotunda also dispenses with the social networking features which I think it is good because that usually confuses the issue. They really focus on entertaining learning. I would have liked to see a little more interaction. At times it seemed like you were just watching a video, but you do check off the different things you learn and the shows are engaging.
