Any time there is a new animated movie from Dreamworks or Pixar you have to get excited. Dragons definitely doesn't disappoint. If you are one of the few people left that haven't eeen it, run to the theatre this weekend.

The story is about a son of a viking conquerer who is really not the conquering type. To prove his worth to his dad, he shoots down one of the most treacherous dragson, a Night Fury. But he can't bring himself to kill the dragon.

Instead he trains the wounded dragon how to fly with a mechanical tale. Of course, the main gist of the story is that the Vikings misunderstand the dragons and they should be friends not enemies.

Dragons is very funny with some great one liners. The action sequences of dragon fighting is great animation. And some scenes are just plain beautiful as the dragons soar through the clouds.

Like many dreamworks pictures, it doesn't hit you over the head with the moral, it kind of sneaks up on you. With great voices, funny one-liners, and goofy vikings, you won't be disappointed.
