I had no idea I would be outside in single digit weather driving a remote control car with my kid. But the Overdrive is worth it. It is one of the most amazing remote control cars we have played with.

What makes the Overdrive worth it is the large rubber wheels. We have the silver car with the green wheels. The wheels are taller than the car and reach out in front of and in back of the body of the car as well. This allows two things. First, it is an all terain vehicle. This thing works in rain, snow, sleet, concrete, anything. We drove it all over the snow hills and into huge puddles of water. So where as most cars you have to be so careful to get it wet, with the overdrive, the wetter the better. In fact, in a really big puddle, the car actually swam by spinning its wheels.

The second thing the wheels do is allow it flip, jump, and land on anything. We jumped this thing down stairs, down slides at the park, and across ramps and it lands on its wheels every time. You can even crash it into walls and the car flips over and drives upside down. We ran it into walls, cars, flag poles, and people just for fun.

The Overdrive is a dream come true remote control car. No longer worrying about it breaking or getting wet. Because it just bounces and flips off of things, it also doesn't matter if your kid can't control it really well at first. Oh, by the way, it is blazingly fast.
