We play the classic SORRY game at home every now and then, but since we got SORRY! Sliders we have been playing non-stop. This game really takes the classic game up a couple of notches.

You still need to move your pawns from Start to Home, but they way you know how many spaces you need to move has totally changed. Now, you have a second set of pawns with a ball on the bottom. This allows your pawns to slide across a ramp and on to the playing board. Where you land tells you how many spaces you get to move.

But the real fun part is that you get to knock your opponents around (and off) the playing board. So if they get high points, you can slam into them and knock them off. My kid just wanted to knock people off the board at first so it took him a little bit to get the idea that he had to score points too, not just knock people around (which is more fun).

The game says six and up but I am playing with my 5 year old. The strategy aspect of the game (knowing which numbers you need to win and which numbers your opponents needs to win) is a little tough at his age, but not that bad. If anything it helps learn a little adding and subtracting.

SORRY! Sliders is a blast for the kids and the whole family.
