a call comes in from the Commissioner—The Joker is playing tricks that just aren’t funny! Batman takes the elevator to the main floor of the Batcave, where Robin has already lowered the drawbridge to the entrance. The Penguin is right outside! Head for the side door to make a quick exit on the Batcycle! Includes Batman, Robin, Batcycle, two bat-arangs, command center, launcher, satellite, antenna, and bat-hook.
We own the Imaginext Castle which we are a big fan of so we thought the Batcave would be a good bet and it was. Just like the castle, it has trap doors, elevators, 3 floors, a ramp to get into the cave and lots of nooks and cranies to play Batman and Robin.
Our set came with the bat motorcycle, bat bommerangs, and missiles to fire off the roof. The real impressive part of these toys is that it really does live up to its name - Imaginext. Our kid and has friends seem to be able to play endlessly with the toys, creating new situations, battles, scenarios, and just coming up with a lot of fun things to do.
The Bat Cave is a winner though Dad always seems have to be the Joker and gets arrested at the end. Crime does play even in pretend.
I agree, this is a great toy among a great line of products from Imaginext. Our son has played with this at least once daily since Santa brought it to our house. The toy is made well, there are lots of trap doors, good accessories and it naturally enables good imaginative play. The image above shows the bat cave expanded. What's also cool for kids (and for parents trying to save space) is that you can even close up the cave and create an entirely different type of play building.
