Curious George is a toddler trapped in a monkey's body. Curious George is funny, smart, and cute. Every kid will love the mis-adventures of this curious animal that tries to solve problems on his own by using what he knows about the world at large. The show has slight bend toward science and tries to teach things like gravity, leverage, momentum, and other light concepts to help kids understand the physics of their world. In the meantime, George goes on rocket ships, trains, roller skates, cooks, drives, and sells lemonade. The surrounding cast is very good (though they have recently lost William H Macy as narrator) with other animals, scientists, store owners, and fireman. Kids are soaking in the learnings of the two stories each 30 minutes. There is typically a break in the middle where real life classrooms perform experiments to verify what George discovered in the last episode. DVR as many of these as possible because your kid will constantly ask for it.
This is a great show. Nice theme song, great animation, fun stories and charaters. My 3 boys love it. The show always teaches something, often about science. I enjoy watching it with them. George is just so lovable.
